Construction has recently begun on Barcelona’s first public ultra-fast electric vehicle charging hub. This new facility expands Endolla Barcelona’s value proposition by offering a fast, convenient and accessible charging experience, while supporting the transition towards more sustainable urban mobility.
The hub will be located at 2 Germans Desvalls Street, next to Passeig de la Vall d’Hebron, a strategic location with direct access to Ronda de Dalt and the city’s main entry and exit routes. Construction is expected to be completed by December 2026.
What will the new Endolla Barcelona hub offer?
Covering an area of almost 900 m², the new facility will feature 12 simultaneous charging points and is expected to serve more than 300 vehicles per day, strengthening Barcelona’s public charging network with a high-capacity, high-turnover infrastructure.
The hub will be equipped with ultra-fast charging technology, delivering up to 480 kW of power and enabling drivers to gain up to 400 km of driving range in just 15 minutes. This represents a significant step forward for the network, making it easier to accommodate more vehicles while considerably reducing charging times for users.
The facility has been designed not only to meet the charging needs of electric vehicles, but also to enhance the overall user experience. It will include rest areas, workspaces, shaded seating, Wi-Fi connectivity, vending machines and accessible toilets, allowing users to make better use of their waiting time in comfort.
